Description

This is omega she was my very first horse her breed was Canadian cross Tennessee Walker  this picture is after 3 months of trying to get weight back on her when we got her she was skin and bones :cries: when we bought her we were told she was 22 ( my mom and dad felt that was the perfect age for my first horse as she would be able to teach me things) by winter ( this pic was in june) we had to sell her as we were moving to a hot and dry climate and we were worried that she wouldn't be able to handle it that was the hardest day of my life leaving her she saved my life in soo many ways as when we bought her i was trying to kill my self. i miss my mare soo much and no horse will ever replace her in my heart. When we sold her we found out she was actually was 33 from a man who knew her from a foal.

i was wondering if all u horse people out there can tell me the pros and cons of my gal (keep in mind we are trying to put weight on her at the point of the pic)

this is not for use.

Truthfully I'd say the best age for a beginner horse is probably between 10-18 but a good horse can be any age. The first show horse I ever rode was a three year old stallion but breed also plays an important role as I've been told and he was indeed a tennessee walking horse.

TWHs are in my opinion the best horses for all ages because they listen so well and are great for people who have back problems and can't handle riding a bouncy horse as well as for children. I love a good ole black horse too <3 I've never been around a Canadian horse but what you say of her and by the looks of her, they cross well with walkers. She has pretty nice conformation too. Also may I ask, was she gaited?
